Maynger's founder, Esna, was a big user of Google Singapore's Makerspace during her time driving startup programs across APAC emerging markets at Google Cloud.
It sparked a sense of creativity and wonder even amongst adult Googlers who came in frequently for 3D printing, woodwork & more.
This sparked the question: What could happen if we took this space for creativity to rural areas?

We set out with a vision to empower students and youths from rural areas to envision the change in their environments, through the power of Innovation & Creativity.
We began designing a Makerlab that would enable students and youths from rural areas to access gadgets including 3D printers and robotics kits.

Our first Maynger Mobile Makerlab is currently reaching outer city schools, complete with an upcoming Innovation Challenge to encourage thoughtful designs that will empower and uplift neighbourhoods.
